TAHA TARIQ, ‘28

GENERAL SENATOR

Taha Tariq is an undecided double-major from London, England, with interests in Geography and Middle Eastern Studies,  and potentially minoring in International Studies. At Dartmouth College, he serves as the Co-Chair of the West House Council, a Stewardship Ambassador under the Dartmouth College Fund, and is deeply involved in the Sustainability Action Programme, the Great Issues Scholar program, and the First Year Class Council. Taha is also a member of the Al-Nur Executive Board, the Hill Winds Programme, the Student Advisory Board, and a photographer for the Aegis Yearbook. This term, he is engaging with the Social Blueprint Challenge, D-LAB, and Tuck Pathfinders Programme. As General House Senator, Taha is committed to representing his year group and is determined to standardise the quality of common rooms and expand support for FGLI students, including advocating for more grants and removing the leave-term requirement for unpaid internships. In his free time, Taha enjoys photography, travelling, baking, gaming, and watching horror movies!
