David Millman, President
David Millman is a '23 from Richmond, Virginia, studying Government and History. He is Dartmouth's Student Body President, a sexual violence prevention advocate, and a former candidate for local office here in Hanover. He serves as a student member of the New Hampshire Governor's Task Force against Campus Sexual Violence, is a board member for SVPP at Dartmouth, and a SAPA! His freshman year at Dartmouth, he helped lead the push for legislation to provide more resources for survivors of sexual violence in the New Hampshire Statehouse, and has been serving as the State Co-Director of the national non-profit the Every Voice Coalition. In Student Government, David led the effort to reestablish the student food pantry, put on community town halls around issues like mental health, dining, and voting, and has tried to use social media, mainly Instagram, to publicize important deadlines, events, and updates to better inform the Dartmouth community. This past Spring, he was the author of an approved zoning district in the Town of Hanover that helps ease the housing crisis in the region. He has worked in an ice cream shop and loves playing basketball at Alumni Gym, even though he is not very good! David hopes to attend law school and focus in housing, equity, and election law.
Jessica Chiriboga, Vice President
Jessica Chiriboga ("Jess") is a '24 from Glendora, California studying Government and History modified with Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies. She is Dartmouth’s Student Body Vice President and an advocate for mental health and LGBTQ+ rights. Jess serves on the JED-Dartmouth Undergraduate Committee for Mental Health, co-chairs the JED Undergraduate “Integration of Wellbeing & Belonging into the Student Experience” working group, and is DSG’s Mental Health Committee Chair. Her advocacy and DSG pilot programs have directly led to Uwill teletherapy and the Headspace App being offered to all undergraduates and sun lamps being available for check-out in the Dartmouth Library and from Dartmouth Athletics. This past year, Jess created a Wellbeing Resources Google Map for the Student Wellness Center, hosted mental health roundtables, and founded the DSG Idea Lab for Mental Health. In Student Government, she also promotes student voting, sexual violence prevention, sustainability, equity & inclusion, and student leadership. At Dartmouth, she serves as Vice President of the Dartmouth Political Union, President of Within (LGBTQ+), and is involved with the Dartmouth Outing Club, the Dartmouth Law Journal, the Law and Ethics Fellowship, Sigma Delta sorority, and the Consortium of Studies in Race, Migration, and Sexuality. Jess enjoys backpacking and eating ice cream in her free time. Fun fact: she is a quadruplet with three brothers!
Kiara Ortiz, Chief of Staff and Interim Financial Director
Kiara Ortiz is a ‘24 from New York City and studies Neuroscience and Public Policy. As a West House senator, she advocates to improve mental health infrastructure, increase academic accessibility, and relieve financial barriers for students. As the Chief of Staff, her primary goal is not only to continue this work and support the executives, but also to ensure all students have the opportunity to participate in creating change. She co-chairs the Student Life committee and works on distributing Dartmouth Coach vouchers, restocking the food pantry, late-night dining, and more. Outside of Student Government, Kiara is a proud member of QuestBridge and the Latine Caribbean Council. Additionally, she is a D-LAB facilitator, tour guide, policy research shop student, and an ophthalmic assistant at DHMC. In her free time, Kiara enjoys listening to Hamilton, sharing bad science puns, and bothering David and Jess.
Alex Lawson, Deputy Chief of Staff
Alex Lawson is a ‘23 from Northern Virginia majoring in Economics with a minor in Human-Centered Design. At Dartmouth, he is the co-chair of the Interhouse Council, the treasurer of the Interfraternity Council, and the president of the Super Smash Bros Club. In his free time, he loves to run, go to the gym, and ski.
Anthony Fosu, Project Director
Anthony Fosu ‘24 hails from Keyport, New Jersey and studies Government and minor in Human-Centered Design and Public Policy. As Director of Projects for DSG and a South House Senator, he centers his passions in policy, design, and community by supporting various initiatives to improve student experience. Previously on the DSG, he helped co-chair the Student Aid Committee, working on increasing Greenprint Access, expanding Menstrual Product availability, and forming lasting relationships with Dartmouth offices like Information, Technology, and Consulting (ITC). He is passionate about improving the livability of Dartmouth for all students. Outside of Student Assembly, Anthony is an active member of the Apologia and Agape. He was a Rockefeller Center First-Year Fellow and advocates as a mentor with the NAACP Dartmouth Chapter, and currently is a UGA. Reach out to him, especially if you like custom-made flags!
Jack Wisdom, Deputy Project Director
Jack Wisdom is a ’26 from Auburn, Alabama who is interested in studying bioengineering and business strategy. At Dartmouth, Jack enjoys working with the Real Estate Club, studying French, and playing golf with the club team. He loves representing East Wheelock first-years in DSG while working hard to improve student experiences at Dartmouth. In his free time, Jack also likes watching football and meeting new people around campus!
Crawford Hovis, Finance Director
Crawford is a ’25 serving as West House Senator. He is from Knoxville, TN, and is studying Computer Science and Economics. On campus, Crawford is involved with the Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program, the Ledyard Club, and has recently joined the Club Squash team. He also enjoys fishing, playing Pickleball, and spending time on the lake. He is excited to be working on behalf of his friends and classmates with the Dartmouth Student Government this year.
JJ Dega, Deputy Finance Director
JJ was born in Chicago, Illinois, but moved to Boise soon after. He is currently undecided on a major but is interested in Government, History, and Economics, and will pursue a Public Policy Minor. On campus, he is involved in Club Tennis, Ledyard Canoe Club, Class Council, and loves attending guest speaker lectures. From his experience in local Idaho politics, he is super excited to make a difference in our interconnected Dartmouth community. This year, he hopes to focus on mental health support for students, laundry allowances, general improvements to student life, and listening to students’ needs. Aside from politics, he loves to write, swim, listen to music, spend quality time with friends and play tennis, previously working as a tennis professional. JJ looks forward to experiencing all Dartmouth has to offer in his first year and also helping to build a supportive Dartmouth community.
Matthew Kim, Co-Communications Director
Matthew Kim is a ’25 from Austin, Texas studying Computer Science and Environmental Studies and is excited to serve students in DSG. At Dartmouth, he is Co-Chair of Bait and Bullet, plays in the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra, and is Co-Treasurer of the Korean Students Association. In his free time, he loves to go fishing and take care of his dorm plants!
Chukwuka Odigbo, Co-Communications Director
Chukwuka V. Odigbo represents North Park House as the ’25 senator. He is from Enugu, Nigeria. He’s going to major in “something STEM, hopefully”. On campus, he is involved with the African Students Association and the AfroAmerican Society, serves as an ambassador for the Mental Health Union, writes for the 3D Admissions Magazine, and works as a teaching assistant in the Computer Science Department. In spare time, he reads and writes short fiction. He’s serving on the Student Government to represent the interests and concerns of students to the administration. Ale Carasco, Deputy Communications Director
Alejandra Carrasco is a Dartmouth Student from Lima, Peru. She is a Sociology mod. Latin American and Caribbean Studies and Education major. Alejandra is involved with Magnuson Student Leadership Board, DartUP (Social Entrepreneurship club), Chess Club, Global Issues Scholars, Team director of Dartmouth Women Investment Fund, Vice president of The Women's Network at Dartmouth and Senator at the Student Assembly at Dartmouth. She is also part of the FYSEP community and King Scholars. Before joining Dartmouth, she was former CEO–now Ambassador and CO-Founder of Wawa Laptop, the first eco-friendly laptop made in Peru. Also, she Co-found the NGO AEPEX (Peruvian student’s abroad association) to democratize the information for low-income students about the application process to colleges’ in the US.
Ranvir Deshmukh, Deputy Communications Director
Ranvir Deshmukh is from Jalgaon, Maharashtra State, India. He is a Computer Science Major, and he is extremely passionate about working on startups and politics. Ranvir is involved in Startup Entrepreneurship Education and Discovery (SEED) club, is closely working with the Magnuson Center on a startup idea, and is a part of the First Year Class Council. He is very ardent on making Dartmouth a better and more accessible place for students by working on Laundry Problems and late night dining. Ranvir looks forward to working for, by, and to benefit the Dartmouth Community.
Nicolás Macri, Town Affairs Liaison
Nicolás Macri, known as Nico commonly and as the real Nico prolifically, is a democracy advocate, election data analyst, history researcher, LGBT+ community advocate, housing, transit, and walkability advocate, and undergraduate student at Dartmouth College. Nico holds long-standing interest in global and US politics, with particular focus on voting rights, anti-gerrymandering, election law, democracy promotion, anti-imperialism, and genocide prevention and reparation. Active in the Hanover, NH and Dartmouth College community and local politics, Nico has led multiple political campaigns, turning out hundreds of voters, advocating for increased representation, and successfully enacting walkable housing capacity expansions while strengthening intra-town ties. Leading in Film Society, Sigma Phi Epsilon, the Rockefeller Global Leadership Program, and Great Issues Scholars and participating in Ultimate Frisbee, Glee Club, and the WebDCR radio station, the “real Nico” also enjoys comedic attempts as an element of mock public image branding, employing satire in his choral, musical theater, and social media bios to exemplify “personality” and “humor”, which he assures to all is deeply successful.
Daniel Cai, Deputy Town Affairs Liason
Daniel Cai is a ’26 from Westchester County, NY, and Beijing, China. He is currently undecided major-wise and is curious to explore many academic fields at Dartmouth. On campus, Daniel is involved in Model United Nations, Army ROTC, Great Issues Scholars, Club Swimming, Cabin and Trail as an avid hiker, and still looking to try out more. He’s concerned mainly about mental health on campus, but also hopes to improve Dartmouth students’ quality of life. Daniel enjoys the outdoors, basketball, debating, newspaper reading, and sleeping. He’s a fan of the Brooklyn Nets living deep in Celtics territory. If you see him walking or biking around campus, please stop him and introduce yourself!
